Still plugging away. My birthday was over the week, and I'm still deep within my cake induced sugar rush. When I eat too much sugar I can't write as well; I get very hyper and just sit there and stare at the computer screen, my mind going in eighty directions at once. Sort of like right now. I can't even blog.
My good friend Jane Latta did a fun thing and posted a playlist to one of her novels. I was thinking about doing the same, but I feel too lazy right now. In fact, I think I hear Aeon Flux calling me....
Anime or live action? Knowing you, I'd guess the anime series is calling you from your DVD collection.
ReplyDeleteI Googled Aeon Flux and saw some disturbing photos. Yikes! That couldn't have been Charlize Theron!
UGH!!!!!!! NOOOOO Charlize Theron is NOOOOT Aeon Flux. No no no. That was just wrong. And the guy that plays Trevor on that movie? noooo.... The next time you come to visit, I will introduce you to the world of Aeon Flux. And hey, you can rent it from Netflix too. NOT the live action one though!!! So lame. They had to try and make it into more than it was. Pathetic!
ReplyDeleteSee? I knew it was the anime that was calling you.
ReplyDeleteHannah says the albino squirrel is cute. I think it's creepy.
We've had an albino squirrel at my mom's for a few years now... You can see him from a mile away jumping around in the trees. Makes aiming really easy...
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Aeon Flux was from anime. (should I have just admitted that?) Ok, I've never seen anything anime, is Aeon Flux a good place to start?
ReplyDeleteI like the albino squirrel. Have the moths departed?
Aeon Flux is American, so some purists would say it's not truly anime. But all the word anime means in Japanese is "animated." So.... anyway, Aeon Flux is American so has a different feel to it than Japanese Anime; also it is a series of stand alone episodes, whereas japanese animes tend to be long series of connected stories in one plotline. Hmm... a good starter anime... it depends on what you like. Outlaw Star could be good for you. It's funny and serious, and has a deeper plot. Trigun is really REALLY good, I would recommend that to anyone (though I just watched a very sad episode...). Cowboy Bebop... I think you would probably like Trigun best, of the ones that I watch. But then of course, there are a bunch of Vampire ones as well. Hellsing, Vampire Hunter D, etc.
